Meadow View Plants

Welcome to Meadow View Plants!

Hello & welcome to Meadow View Plants!

My name is Sue Gillon & I run a small nursery selling the traditional & the more unusual cottage garden plants.

Group visits to our garden from gardening societies, U3A etc are recommended for the months of June & July when the herbaceous borders look at their best!

We don't own a conventional nursery as such that you can walk around as the small nursery area is part of our garden & unfortunately we aren't available to welcome individual visitors on a daily basis. If you & a group of friends would like to visit please contact me.  You are welcome to stroll round & enjoy the gardens free of charge. Have a look at our photographs! We can provide home made cake & tea/coffee with a little prior notice for a small charge for gardening groups or just small groups of friends who would like to visit together. We ask for a minimum number of 6 & a maximum number of 25 visitors.

Throughout the growing season my husband, Allan & I attend local plant fairs & flower shows in Lancashire & Cheshire.

We would like to welcome old & new visitors to our site.

Visits to the garden & nursery are by appointment only & we ask you to contact us by phone or email.

There will be lots of new plants to tempt you for 2017 & we will also be out & about at numerous plant fairs around the North West. I will continue to update the calendar but should you need any up to date information, please do get in touch. I aim to reply within 24 hours.

I can undertake small garden design & planting projects although I am unable to do hard landscaping. This would have to be undertaken by a contractor of your choice. I will visit your home & site to discuss your ideas, likes & dislikes to help you create your perfect garden. Please have a look at some of the photos of garden borders I have created for some of my clients recently.

***** YOU CAN PURCHASE OUR PLANTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT MERE SANDS WOOD WILDLIFE TRUST AT RUFFORD EVERY DAY EXCEPT FOR MONDAYS ALTHOUGH THE WINTER RANGE IS MORE LIMITED *****

HOT OFF THE PRESS!

On Thursday 18th August Meadow View Plants was awarded a Silver Gilt medal for our first ever Floral marquee display & we are thrilled! Displaying in the prestigious floral marquee is a step up from our usual plant fairs & although challenging & very hard work, I've really enjoyed the experience. Everyone has been very complimentary about the garden & on the first day of the show we sold a record amount of plants.
