Garden visits

We are now able to welcome visitors to our garden by arrangement from May to July (6 - 25 people) Please ask for details, we can also offer homemade cake with a cup of tea/coffee.

The garden we have inherited has a mature framework of trees & shrubs. However, we didn't have any flower beds at all so 2 days after moving in we started to create some new perennial flower beds! The garden is divided into separate areas of interest & is approximately half an acre in size. As you will appreciate it has elements of a mature garden complemented with the fresh new beds filled with both traditional & more unusual cottage garden favourites.

My small nursery is on site so there will always be a selection of plants for purchasing in our sales area when you visit. We have some parking spaces near the house but car share would be greatly appreciated! There is also the opportunity to park on Hesketh Lane which is within walking distance of our garden. Please contact me for more information.

Combined talks & plant sales for groups
I have teamed up with an experienced garden speaker, Marguerite Hughes & together we offer an entertaining evening for your gardening, horticultural, W I, or U3A group.
Marguerite speaks for approximately an hour on a variety of subjects & I bring along a good selection of quality & competitively priced plants for sale.
We are both pleased to answer your gardening queries during the evening.
The cost of a talk will be £60 in 2018 & regrettably there is a charge for fuel, currently at 40p per mile. We will travel to groups within a 50 mile radius of Southport.
Please contact me for a list of the talks & any specific requests
